Binaural Beats: Third Eye

Binaural Beats: Third Eye

This is a REAL isochronic beat that will have the same results on a stereo hi-fi system as on stereo ear plugs.

Duration: 30 minutes

The Third Eye is often spoken of as the gate that leads within to inner realms and spaces of higher consciousness. The awakening of the third eye is said to have a strong effect on clairvoyant abilities, out of body experiences, visions and precognition. Best results with ear plugs or on a hi-fi system with stereo speakers.

I have used it 4 times. The first time I used it, it kept me up all night so there is something at work here. The designer needs to make the start/pause/stop buttons bigger. They are a ridiculously small size. In addition, there should be some way to see exactly where you are in the 30 minute recording and navigate within the recording. One slip and you have to start all the way over again. If those 2 things were addressed, I'd have given it 5 stars.

Wasted $

Doesn't even warrant one star. On the positive side, the tones are somewhat relaxing. The quality of the recording is terrible and the transitioning between loops produces an annoying click that is very disruptive when meditating. This app only plays tones with no mixing with other sounds like the ocean, thunder, etc. similar to others apps costing much, much less. I had initially considered buying all the apps in this series, but after this experience, I will stick with the apps by other providers.

Barely mediocre...

This was the first "binaural beat"-type app I purchased, and the first binaural beat I listended to -ever. I thought it was OK at first. Wasn't too satisfied with the fact that you can't control the beat's duration (i.e. there's no timer). Also, I wasn't happy with the price, but figured if it really works, then it's a small price to pay.

After doing some more digging in the App Store, I discovered AmbiScience's 100 Binaural Beats. The app is great, at least when compared to Innernode.com's app. It has all type of different functionality (i.e. timer, alarm, presets), and has not only 100 distinct binaural beats, but it has tones (like waves, rain, melodies, white noise, etc) that you can mix with the binaural beats. Also, the beats are of a lot better quality on Ambiscience's app --you'll know exactly what I'm talking about after listening to the two. The craziest thing about the difference between the two is that AmbiScience's app is $1.99, versus the $3.99 for this app. Ambiscience's has literally 100 times for beats (plus tones), then Innernode.com's app --not to mention the increased functionality of AmbiScience's app.

In short, do not get this app, or any of the apps this developer distributes. It's a ripoff. I wish there was a return policy, so I could get my $4 back. Had to delete the app right after getting Ambiscience's app. What a waste.
